The mart

I went to the Atlanta Mart this past Friday and Saturday with my mom.  We had a good trip and hope that we found some things for our business. One of the things we found were spa bags.  We hope to be able to use them for our customers at the dog shows.  They are always looking for something to take to ring side that has pockets on the outside.  We also ordered some more picnic time chairs.  We think it was a fruitful trip.

I have an order of shirts for a couple of different groups and am excited to get them done.  I will be sure to post pictures of them.

See you next week.

What's been Going On

We just finished doing our first dog show of the year.  Man was it cold.  We were inside, but they have what they call radiant heat.  We aren't sure where it was radiating, but were fairly sure it wasn't on us.  The venue was the T E Garrison Arena in Clemson.  That was the first time we had been there.  It is really a neat place, but I am sure it is better when warmer.
We hope to be going to the mart in Atlanta on Friday, but just are not sure about the weather.  I am going to have to call tomorrow and check to see if they are still having the show.  There have been so many flight cancellations, I'm not sure the vendors have been able to get there.
We are excited to get our second year started with our traveling to shows. It is a fun thing to do.  Very hard work, but fun.  I enjoy talking to the customers.  Sometimes that gets me behind, as I should be at my machines embroidering.  Oh well, I don't think I can change.

A throw for dog lovers

The above picture is a throw I embroidered for a lady that is giving it to her mom and dad for Christmas.  They always had miniture schnauzers and these are the names of all their dogs.  The bottom one is a sealyham named Talfryn.  It was in the family also. I know she will love it.

Holiday Fair in Greenville, SC

We just finished our first Holiday Fair this past weekend.  It went fairly well.  I hope next year to be closer to the front of the show. We sold a lot of market totes.  They are great for so many different things.  We carry the kind with the zip top and also the ones that are rectangular without a top.   People use them for carrying dishes to events as a 9x13 pan fits nicely down in the bottom. Some ladies use them to put their crafts in, yarn for crotcheting, also quick trips to the store to get just a few items.  We also have the small ones that are 10.5x9x6.  They are used to carry things to and from your car, coupons in the car, on desk to keep it organized.  Go to our website http://www.isew4u.net/ and check them out.
